Erie Redevelopment serves as the lead agency in assisting new and existing businesses find suitable land or buildings in the region. We take a customer centric, customized approach to real estate in some cases owning and leasing back or providing built to suit alternatives to help companies meet their real estate objectives.
Erie Redevelopment assists companies in identifying and securing suitable facilities throughout the region. We work closely with the real estate community to ensure all options are known and presented to companies looking for space.
Erie Redevelopment is a state leader in redeveloping environmentally challenging properties. Since the PA Act 2 Voluntary Clean Up Program was established in 1995, we have remediated nearly 20 industrial sites putting them back into productive reuse.
Erie Redevelopment assist in identifying and administering grants at the federal, state and local levels. We will prepare grant applications, administer contracts, review construction contracts for grant compliance issues, administer reimbursement requests, maintain grant records, and facilitate the final audit. Our involvement insures the highest chance of receiving a grant award and a streamlined process to receive funds.
Financing assistance is available for existing Erie County companies, firms relocating to the area, and real estate developers.
Financing programs are available to eligible non-profit organizations to assist with refunding as well as building & land acquisition and facility construction and expansion.
